Harmony

“It is the harmony of the diverse parts, their symmetry, their happy balance; in a word it is all that introduces order, all that gives unity, that permits us to see clearly and to comprehend at once both the ensemble and the details.”

– Henri Poincaré, French mathematician

Lucid Dreaming

“I am accustomed to sleep and in my dreams to imagine the same things that lunatics imagine when awake.”

– Rene Descartes

I’ll take the dream I had last night,
And put it in my freezer,
So someday long and far away,
When I’m an old grey greezer,
I’ll take it out and thaw it out,
This lovely dream I’ve frozen,
And boil it up and sit me down
And dip my old cold toes in.

– Shel Silverstein
